ServiceAlert for Slack

Send ServiceAlert notifications to a Slack channel with an incoming webhook.

What the integration does

ServiceAlert can post provider-status and owned-monitor notifications to Slack through an incoming webhook. Teams using the Slack app can also connect declared-incident war rooms where that feature is available.

What you need

Permission to create or install a Slack app and an incoming webhook for the destination channel.

Setup

  1. Create or open a Slack app for the workspace.
  2. Enable incoming webhooks and add one to the destination channel.
  3. Paste the webhook URL into ServiceAlert and send a test notification.
