ServiceAlert for Microsoft Teams

Send Adaptive Card notifications to a Teams channel through Workflows.

What the integration does

ServiceAlert posts alert cards through a signed Microsoft Teams Workflows webhook. Existing Graph connections must be replaced in Settings.

What you need

Channel notifications are included with Starter, Team, Business and Enterprise.

A Teams Workflows webhook using the Anyone trigger setting and its complete signed URL. Legacy Office connectors and identity-authenticated triggers are unsupported.

Setup

  1. In Teams, create a workflow with the When a Teams webhook request is received trigger.
  2. Choose Anyone access and the destination channel, then save and copy the complete signed URL.
  3. Save the URL in ServiceAlert Teams settings. Use Test connection to send a real test message.
  4. Add a co-owner in Teams so the workflow can be maintained if its creator leaves.
