ServiceAlert for Chrome and Edge
Check the service behind your current tab with a click. See source labels, verification time and provider notices, then open the full status page.
What the integration does
The ServiceAlert browser extension looks up a matching service when you open its popup. It does not poll while you browse. Domain matching identifies the provider; it does not verify your account, tenant, component or a particular request.
What you need
A desktop Chromium browser that permits unpacked extensions. Version 1.1.0 is available for manual installation. A public store installation link is not available yet. No ServiceAlert account is required.
Setup
- Download the ZIP and extract it into a folder you will keep.
- Open chrome://extensions in Chrome or edge://extensions in Edge and enable Developer mode.
- Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
- Pin ServiceAlert if you want easy access. Visit the service website and click the extension to check its status.
- For a manual update, replace the extracted files with the new version and use Reload on the extension page. This download does not receive automatic store updates.
Manual installation is intended for people comfortable managing an unpacked extension. Your organization may restrict it. This package has not been presented here as store-approved.
