When report volume spikes above the baseline threshold, the chart turns red and we automatically alert all subscribers, usually 10-30 minutes before MarkUp acknowledges the issue on their own status page.

Reports are rate-limited to one per service per IP per 15 minutes to prevent abuse, and we hash IP addresses with a daily-rotating salt rather than storing them in plaintext.
