How can I get alerted when LogSnag goes down?

Sign up for a free ServiceAlert.ai account to get multi-channel alerts (email, browser push, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, webhooks) plus on-call routing, alert cooldowns, and per-team filtering.

I'm having issues with LogSnag right now, how do I report it?

Click one of the four buttons in the "Having issues with this service?" section above (Service Down, Slow Performance, Errors, Intermittent Issues). Your report is added to the live spike chart and geographic heatmap immediately. When report volume spikes above the baseline threshold, the chart turns red and we automatically alert all subscribers, usually 10-30 minutes before LogSnag acknowledges the issue on their own status page.

Reports are rate-limited to one per service per IP per 15 minutes to prevent abuse, and we hash IP addresses with a daily-rotating salt rather than storing them in plaintext.

Is ServiceAlert affiliated with LogSnag?

No. ServiceAlert.ai is an independent uptime monitoring service. We aggregate and display status data from LogSnag's public status page alongside user reports to give a faster, clearer picture of service health.

About LogSnag monitoring

ServiceAlert.ai checks LogSnag every 5 minutes by polling the official status page, processing RSS and JSON feeds, and cross-referencing user reports. We typically detect outages 10-30 minutes before vendors publicly acknowledge them, so setting up alerts here gives you a meaningful head start over refreshing the vendor's own status page.
